It’s Auction time!! Crocker’s annual Spring Auction is the PTA’s most important spring fundraiser. Our goal in 2020 is to raise more than $100,000 to continue supporting our dynamic enrichment programs such as library, technology, music, physical activity, reading and math intervention, classroom aides, Spanish … and more.  With continued OUSD budget cuts, we need your support now more than ever!

A NOTE ON RAISE YOUR PADDLE 2020

For a third year, we are proud to extend the Crocker Community’s giving options to include projects at our school (1st raise the paddle) as well as an opportunity to donate to the greater OUSD community as a whole.

1st Raise the Paddle – These funds will go to supporting Crocker Highlands Elementary.  This is an opportunity to donate cash directly to the Crocker PTA to be used for our school.  

2nd Raise the Paddle – These funds will go to Crocker’s resource-sharing program. Seventy-five percent of the funds raised as part of this effort throughout the year will go to Equity Allies for OUSD’s Equity Fund, which provides unrestricted $10,000 grants to Oakland’s most-stressed elementary schools. Twenty-five percent will go to the Oakland Public Education Fund’s A-Z Fund, which provides teacher training and mini-grants to public schools in Oakland. Both of these efforts allow schools that lack our fundraising capacity to offer the types of activities—like art, music, field trips, reading, and science—that we value for our own kids at Crocker.
